  1. Metaphysics is the study of appearance/reality/good.
  2. The most widely accepted definition of knowledge is justified true belief/the relation between the knower and the known/a quality of mind.
  3. The method of universal doubt is found in the philosophy of Spinoza/Descartes/Hume.
  4. “There is nothing in the intellect which was not previously in the sense – except the intellect itself.” This statement is associated with Locke/Spinoza/Leibniz.
  5. Russell’s knowledge by description is roughly correspondent to knowledge about direct knowledge/indeterminate knowledge.
  6. There are two/three/four important arguments advanced by the contemporary philosophers against scepticism.
