  1. The literal meaning of the term ‘Philosophy’ is love of learning / love of wisdom / love of thinking.
  2. ‘Knowing that’ is practical / theoretical / both practical and theoretical.
  3. “There is noting in the intellect which was not previously in the senses except the intellect itself.” It is the view of Locke / Hume / Leibnitz.
  4. Hume’s scepticism is known as associationism / a priorism / criticism.
